I can't remember the last time a game that badly blown fell to our side in the end. That's the most encuraging feat from the Tigers we have seen this year.
I have to admit I am sorry to see Jeeter knocked out of the series this way - but I think I can get over it.
The choices appear to be the whole bullpen - and maybe even Porcello - should be interesting. You're right - you did have to support your closer up to now - and now he MUST sit down and watch - but the real analysis comes in as to who fills the role in Valverde's stead.
