Pat, hopefully they will get back to basis of a strike a strike and ball a ball. Why would you let a pitcher throw a pitch down the heart of the strike zone and not swing at it, even if it is the first pitch? If the San Fran pitcher get ahead then your swinging at their pitches. Let give the Giants their own medicine and zone in on certain pitches. Cain throw a fastball 55% of the time. He is basically fasball/slider pitcher. This game is a classic make-up of Max against the Giants. Fastball pitcher against a team they will be sitting on the fastball. He might want to throw a few more sliders and change-ups.
I am glad for all of the true Tigers fans that Don fing Kelly could bat in the bottom of the tenth down by a run instead of the organizations number one player of the year for minor leagues!!! (Not sure if kelly even belongs in he minor leagues!!!)
