Unbelievable. Their offense has been even worse than usual recently and their starting pitching has been bad recently for the first time all season.
If they thought ticket sales were down next year, wait til next year if they complete this historic collapse. Not just 3 games up with 4 to go, but the Tigers were up 7 games on September 6th. And they've lead the division for nearly 5 months. To lose it on the last day would be unbelievably horrible.
Michael C, Actually they did OK at box office. It's just they sold so many tickets last season. But you are right. People just don't believe in this team. Caputo

Wonder what Laird thinks today?
Baseball has always been considered the "perfect" game that will show a team's weaknesses ...
Now it's show time .. problem is the Tiger's have been showing lethargy and very weak hitting, especially with men in scoring positions.
The ace has to bear down with his best game of the year and then probably off to the metrodome ..
Doesn't look good but hope is eternal.

Better win today ...
Anonymous,
Yeah, but you have to admit the Tigers are a weird team. You never know what will transpire in the next few hours.
