Thoughts halftime, Lions, Saints

- The Saints' last touchdown drive was a disgusting example of defensive football by the Lions. It was like a 7-on-nobody drill in minicamp.

- If Ndamukong Suh makes the same type of hit as Shaun Rogers made on Matthew Stafford, he gets fined $20,000 by the NFL. And Rogers didn't even draw a flag.

- For Drew Brees, this is like stealing candy from a baby. It's just too easy.

- The Lions miss Suh. The push up the middle isn't what it would have been, although the sack late in the half was a hopeful sign for the Lions.

- Kevin Smith is running surprisingly well. Didn't think he'd be able to do it considering he has an ankle injury.

- Eric Wright's effort on the Saints' second touchdown was poor. That looked like something from the old Lions.

- The Saints already have rolled up more than 300 yards in offense. Ridiculous.

- The Saints defense isn't that good, either. It is the Lions only hope. It could be worse. Maybe it should be. How did Titus Young get that open? Blocked field goal? Brutal. Guy was offside, though.
