the offense has been downgraded significantly...Kinsler for Infante is a wash at best. Iglesias for Peralta & Castellanos for Fielder are big offensive losses.
interested to see how they try to recoup that production. Boston's solution was to find guys who were situationally productive (Nava, Gomes, Ross, etc)...an Earl Weaver approach to roster building.
going with a platoon in LF and/or 3B would give the Tigers bench depth which is lacking.

Caputo has a radio show weeknights and weekends on 97.1 FM, The Ticket, which is the flagship station for the Tigers, Lions and Red Wings. He also appears regularly on FOX 2 television on "SportsWorks."

If I were a betting man, I would bet that Dave Dombrowski's moves will make the Tigers fit to compete for a World Series title in 2014.
