I think selecting a QB in the 3rd or 4th round would be absolutely ludicrous. The chance of them becoming a better QB than Stafford is so very remote.
We got a pro-bowl quality RG in the 3rd round last year. You don't blow draft choices that high on backup QBs.
Selecting another WR in the 3rd or 4th round, even if you've already picked one, would likely do a hell of a lot more for our passing game than wasting a pick on a project QB would.
Or better yet, use it to fill holes on defense, on a TE, or on a center or guard to fill upcoming holes in the offensive line in the future.
