After sputtering late in the regular season, they have knocked off Peyton Manning and Tom Brady in back-to-back weeks. The 49ers are a little better team overall. Their favorite status is not misplaced. But the underdog has won five of the last 11 Super Bowls after winning only once in the previous decade. I think the slight edge will come at quarterback.
