I think this will finally give Jim Leyland the opportunity to show that he can manage a pennant contender without a collapse. I doubt that he will change but if he is going to rest uninjured starters, he really should do it one at a time. After the rosters expand, too many times it is the Toledo Mud Hens opposing a major league team.
Pat, the only thing that bothers me about the Twins is they have an easier schedule then the Tigers do from now until the end of August. Looks like White Soxes have easier schedule too. This is going to be tough. Hopefully the Tigers will not let the Twins off the mat today. Looks like Weinhardt is a keeper. Too bad the Tigers did not give an effort for Lee. You need two aces going into the playoffs.

Core Contrarian,
We'll see how Leyland does the second half this time. Collapse are becoming a big part of his legacy with Tigers.
Caputo
Barry,
Without question, Tigers have rough schedule to survive during a period of the second half.
