Pat I think that are the favourite to win the East which is a tough task. The Jays the last few years if they can stay healthy. I like how they have balance out line-up with the addition of the three switch hitters. The good young player like Cooper can only help. I also like the Jays starting depth beyond their starting five. The Angels to me have to pick up another starter but they have been a very good fundamental baseball team the couple of years. Unless they planning hitting their to the World Series and that has a high failure rate.
It was interesting here on the Canukian side of the river last fall when Toronto's big trades happened all at once. Our three sports networks (yeah, we have three - all Toronto-centric) climbed all over this analysing it up and down and in and out because the hockey lockout gave them little to talk about except for Brier Cup hopefulls and CHL coverage.
As you know - in Windsor - Maple Leaf and Blue Jay fans are abundant - which means I'm a lousy Canadian being a Tiger fan - so there will be a lot more at stake for us Windsor Tiger lovers.
Fred Brill, The Jays definitely have improved and the Yanks and Red Sox have fallen off, but the Tigers clearly have the better team on paper. It will be fun if they were to meet in postseason. Both towns, and everywhere in between, would love it. Caputo

It might get ugly!

Barry,
The Angels potentially have a great team. Toronto seems overrated, but you never know. A lot of power there.
