  1. when does gamesmanship become cheating in the mind of an athlete? is it only when caught that they realize they were cheating?

    should Armstrong be viewed differently, if in fact all of his peers were doing the same and evading detection? he is the focal point due to his success, but if the entire field of riders was corrupt, should he be judged more harshly?
