IMO, The Tigers will never acheive more than winning the AL with this defense. It is already, stressing the pitching staff. Fielder's arrival weakened the team at 2 positions, which is why he was a bad fit. To upgrade, they will need a a SS and 2nd baseman with range. Delmon Young has become a problem at DH, batting 5th.
