    For the season, out of 32 teams, these are the Lion's defensive rankings (based on total yards):

    23rd total defense
    23rd rushing yards
    22nd passing yards
    21st first downs yielded

    (also 21st on total defensive downs)

    side note: the Lions were 29th or 3rd from last on total penalty yards.
