You seem to have double standards. You talk about Osgood's overall contributions and then talk about Howard having a bad game. You compare Osgood's stats only in the years we went to the finals to Howard's stats only in the last game. His 91% save percentage so far is the same that Osgood had when we last won the Cup.
And you say the problem with Howard is consistency when that's always been the knock on Osgood too. If you're going to compare the two shouldn't you do so on even ground?
Anonymous, I don't think consistency was knock on Osgood - especially last two years. He was remarkably consistent in 2008 and 2009 playoffs. My point is that goalie in Detroit is a contradiction. Caputo
