    Pat, I hope the Lions pick defensive linemen, running back and a secondary in the first three rounds.

    An offensive lineman would help too. Backus is on the twilight of his career (very good one) but you need to run the ball for 4 yards.

    If they get three good players at those positions, the Lions would be in great shape.

    I wouldn't say Backus is in the twilight. Many teams find their best offensive linemen late in the draft.
